Weekly review

Once a week, on the day you picked in setup, the coach runs a 15-minute review and re-plans the next seven days. It is the heart of every SkillPlug system.

Say "Weekly review." If you forget, the coach brings it up when a review is due.

What it covers

  1. Your week. Two or three questions at most: what you got done versus the plan, any new scores, and your energy and sleep.
  2. Plan vs actual. Completion percentages for the main parts of your plan, and the one biggest reason for any gap.
  3. Trend. This week compared with the last two or three. One data point is not a trend; qbank percentages use a rolling average over about 100 questions.
  4. Weak areas. Re-ranked from new evidence. Two strong checks in a row resolve an item. The active list is capped at five.
  5. Decision check. Anything that should trigger a bigger decision, such as a self-assessment that changes your readiness picture or an exam within 21 days.
  6. Next seven days. Volume is adjusted by simple rules:
Last weekWhat changes
90% or more done, energy 3 or higherKeep the volume or nudge it up (at most 10%)
70 to 89% doneKeep the volume and fix the one named obstacle
Under 70% done, or energy 2 or lowerCut volume 15 to 25%, protect sleep and a rest block

These thresholds are a SkillPlug convention, not research, and the coach says so.

  1. Deadlines. Anything due in the next 30 days, with risks flagged.
  2. Close. Three lines: what went well, what changes, and the first action of the week.

The review is saved as reviews/YYYY-Www.md in your state folder. If you turned on sync, your dashboard updates after the review.

Monthly mode

Every fourth review goes further:

  • Phase check. Are you ready to move to the next phase?
  • Verify facts. The coach lists time-sensitive facts your plan relies on (exam format, fees, application dates) and asks you to confirm them on the official sites in reference/sources.md.
  • Timeline refresh for the remaining months.
  • Zoom out. Is this still the right goal and pace for your life right now?
