Connect sync

The easy way: open Connect your AI, pick Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or Gemini, sign in, and click Allow. Your dashboards fill in automatically from then on.

Connect your AI (recommended)

1. Open /connect and pick your app.
2. Follow the one to three steps shown. Sign in to SkillPlug and click Allow.
3. In a chat, say "sync my dashboard". You'll see a line like "Dashboard updated: skillplug.io/account/dashboards/step1".

Approving the app turns sync on. No keys, no files to edit. Disconnect any time on the AI connections page.

Advanced: sync with a key

Use this for coding assistants that run commands in your study folder, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, if you'd rather not sign in.

1. Create a SkillPlug key

1. Sign in and open AI connections in your account.
2. Under Advanced: SkillPlug keys, click Create key. You can add a name, such as "MacBook, Claude Code".
3. Copy the key. It starts with sp_live_ and is shown only once.

One key does everything: the same key syncs your dashboards and works with the agent API and MCP server. If your pack's instructions mention a "sync key" or the old Create sync key button, this is the key they mean. Older keys that start with sps_ keep working for sync until you revoke them.

2. Give it to your agent

Open your assistant in your study folder and say:

Connect my SkillPlug account. My key is ready.

The agent asks how you want to provide the key and stores it outside your study folder, in one of two places:

It asks before writing outside your study folder. It never writes the key into skillplug-state/, logs, dashboards, or printouts.

3. Check it and sync

The agent checks the key with SkillPlug. When it works, it sets sync to on and sends your first snapshot. You'll see a line like "Dashboard updated: skillplug.io/account/dashboards/step1".

When it syncs

Only when sync is on:

• at the end of a session, at most once
• after each weekly review
• when you say "sync my dashboard" or "update my account"

Never in the background, never on every change, and never in a retry loop.

Keys and connected apps

• Up to 10 active keys per account, for example one per computer or agent.
• The AI connections page shows each key's name, created date, last-used date, and last four characters.
• A key reaches only your account: your dashboards, your study progress, and the packs you own. It can't read your orders, change billing, or sign in.
• You can pause dashboard sync on the same page without revoking any key. While paused, syncs are refused.
• Signing out does not revoke keys or disconnect apps. Click Revoke or Disconnect to stop one immediately.
