Which AI assistant do I need?

Any major one. Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can save your progress as files, which works best for the v2.1 systems. ChatGPT, Claude.ai Projects, and Gemini work with uploaded files and a STATE block. See Install overview.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Installing is copying a folder. The install guides include copy-and-paste Terminal commands if you'd rather not hunt for hidden folders.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once and keep the pack. Updates are free: re-download from your account.

Can I use more than one pack?

Yes. Packs share the shared/ part of skillplug-state/, so your profile, deadlines, and timeline carry over. The Step 1 System even writes a hand-off for Step 2 CK.

Is the coach giving medical advice?

No. It plans your time and studying. Your school, your advisors, and official rules come first.

Does it use real exam questions?

No. The packs never discuss recalled live exam questions or use pirated materials, and printouts and sync never include question text.

Is my data private?

Your files stay on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn on account sync, and synced data is visible only to you. See Privacy.

Are the exam facts up to date?

Every time-sensitive fact is dated and linked in reference/sources.md, and the monthly review asks you to confirm them on the official sites.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Email support@skillplug.io within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

I bought the Med Student Pack. Where did Away Rotations go?

It moved to Residency Application on October 17, 2026. If you bought the Med Student Pack before October 18, 2026, it stays on your account.

Is the Weekly Planner really free?

Yes, and complete. Nothing is locked. It uses the same skillplug-state/ folder as the paid packs, so you can upgrade without starting over.
