Printable PDFs
Some people plan best on paper, and advisors often want a printout. The Step 1 and Step 2 CK systems build clean, printable documents from the logs you already keep.
What you can print
| Document | What's on it |
|---|---|
| Daily checklist | Today's items with boxes and time estimates, your daily minimum, a notes area, and an evening log strip |
| Weekly study log | Seven rows of planned vs actual, weekly totals, top three weak areas, next week's three changes, and deadlines in the next 30 days |
| Miss log | Misses grouped by type and system with takeaways and re-test dates, plus a count by miss type and your self-assessment scores |
| Schedule | Your plan's week table and day grid, with self-assessments and your exam date highlighted |
Ask in plain words: "Print my schedule.", "Make me a paper checklist.", or "Something to show my advisor." The coach asks which documents and what date range.
How it works
- The coach writes one HTML file with print styles (US Letter) to
skillplug-state/print/, named with the date. - It converts it to PDF with a tool already on your computer, such as headless Chrome or Edge. It never installs software without asking.
- If no converter is available, open the HTML file and use Print, then Save as PDF.
Everything stays on your computer: no web fonts, no uploads. Only your own words and numbers go in, never question text from a qbank or exam. Empty sections say "no entries yet" instead of inventing rows.
In a chat app
ChatGPT, Claude.ai, and Gemini usually can't save files for you. There, the coach gives you the document as text to paste into a doc and print.
Tip
Before an advisor meeting, run your weekly review first so the packet is current.
