Researcher

The Researcher pack helps students and residents take a paper from outline to accepted. It has three skills, one for each stage.

Price: $39. Download: research-pack/ with three skill folders and an INSTALL.md.

The three skills

Manuscript Builder

Builds academic manuscripts from outline to submission-ready draft: narrative reviews, case reports, and original research. It handles structure, journal formatting, and reference styles. Use it when you start a paper, restructure a draft, convert between journal formats, or get stuck on a section.

Try: "Help me outline a case report." or "Reformat this for a journal that uses Vancouver style."

Submission Navigator

Guides journal submission: journal fit, APC and fee checks, cover letters, pre-submission inquiries, and submission checklists. Use it when you choose where to submit, before you pay any fee, or after a rejection when you pick the next journal.

Try: "Which journals fit this manuscript?" or "Write a cover letter for this submission."

Reviewer Response Coach

Coaches you through peer review: triage of reviewer comments, point-by-point rebuttal letters, and revision planning. Use it when reviews come back, when a comment feels unfair, or when you are deciding what to change and what to defend.

Try: "Reviews came back. Help me triage them."

Install

These are individual v1 skills:

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Copy the three skill folders into your assistant's skills folder (for example ~/.claude/skills/, .cursor/skills/, or ~/.agents/skills/, as in the install guides).
  3. Restart your assistant and ask naturally.

Or open any SKILL.md and paste it into your assistant's instructions or the start of a chat. See Chat assistants.

Good to know

  • The skills work from your real material. They never invent data, results, or references.
  • They remember what you tell them within a conversation. Paste in your draft, the journal's guidelines, and reviewer comments as you go.
